Field Schools
The Department offers four field schools each summer:
- Archaeology Field School in Illinois (ANTH 496; two 4 week sessions) – May 18-June 12 & June 15-July 10, 2009 (at Kincaid Mounds)
- Advanced Field Methods in Archaeology (ANTH 596; 8 weeks, graduate students only) – May 18-July 10, 2009 (at Kincaid, concurrent with the Archaeology Field School).
- Bioarchaeology Field School in Italy (ANTH 497; 4 weeks) – June 27-August 2, 2009 (See also current info at Study Abroad Summer Programs)
- Ethnographic Field School in Kenya (ANTH 495; 3 weeks) – May 18-June 3, 2009 ( also see current info at Study Abroad Summer Programs)
