Field Schools
The Department offers four field schools each summer:
- Ethnographic Field School in Bangladesh (ANTH 495; 2weeks) – Dec 26, 2009-Jan 10, 2010 (Microcredit and Social Development in Bangladesh).
- Archaeology Field School in Illinois (ANTH 496; two 4 week sessions) – May 24-June 4& June 7-June 18, 2010 (at Kincaid Mounds)
- Advanced Field Methods in Archaeology (ANTH 596; 8 weeks, graduate students only) – May 24-June 18, 2010 (at Kincaid, concurrent with the Archaeology Field School).
- Ethnographic Field School in Kenya (ANTH 495; 3 weeks) – May 30-June 15, 2010 ( also see current info at Study Abroad Summer Programs)
